A: Similar to homework, testing is up to you. Your teacher will track your progress and recognize your level achievements at various intervals throughout your language learning journey. Testing can certainly be an important part of that journey, but it is optional. Sometimes our students are learning with us in order to pass a very specific test as part of obtaining citizenship, advanced placement in high school, job requirements, etc. In these cases, we recommend testing for status as well as preparation and experience.
